Sign & Print Production Technician

Production Associate needed by a warehouse identification and marking specialist in Buford, GA.

A growing customer base and drive for continued improvements has led to ASG Services needing a production associate who can work as part of the production team, to ensure quality, accuracy and throughput are achieved daily.

Experience would be beneficial, an excellent written and verbal communication and a skillful understanding of math are equally as important in our considerations.

This is a fast paced environment, so you should not apply if you are not willing to work hard. We do not employ the first person we can find, we employ the best who will help to make our company the best in our industry.

Main areas of responsibility:

Fabrication and application of sign and label components,
Operation and maintenance of equipment and tools,
Helping to sustain a professional, clean, efficient and safe working area,
Using up-to-date computer software,
Using (but not limited to) lamination machines, guillotines, drill press, etc,
Lifting and transferring materials throughout shop,
Other duties assigned as needed.

Education:

Associates Degree or Higher is preferred.

Job type:

Full-time

Experience Preferred:

Experience in sign and label printing, fabrication and application is a benefit.

Physical demands of the job:

Requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping and some sitting,
Frequent lifting and moving of materials,
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard,
Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

Skills needed:

Ability to work under pressure,
Mechanically and practically inclined,
Must be flexible and available to work outside of normal working hours, when needed,
Desire to learn and develop with the company,
Good communicator on all levels,
Excellent team working abilities,
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
