Labels
Our aluminum frames protect warehouse floor labels. Securely screw or adhere to the ground, insert your labels and cover with a durable clear plastic cover.
Reliable quality, supplied and installed throughout the US.
Metal frame floor labels offer a highly durable solution compared to simple adhesive labels placed directly on the floor.
Made from aluminum, these frames are tough enough to protect the label while preventing floor damage, even under significant impact.
ASG Services can produce location labels in high-definition print and full-color designs, complete with alpha, numeric, and barcode data. We also manage location files and large volumes of variable data, positioning ASG as a comprehensive solutions provider.
Our state-of-the-art high-definition printing machines create high-performance barcodes that undergo rigorous testing for verification, content, and accuracy before leaving ASG Services.
We produce labels according to the sequence specified in location files for use with metal frame floor labels. With proper information and planning, this process significantly reduces the time required to install floor location labels.
Our frames come in various shapes. While the traditional rectangular design remains popular, oval frames have gained traction for their rounded edges, which minimize the risk of damage.
All frames feature edges with a chamfer, countersunk screw holes, and are a durable aluminum.

Help & Advice
Floor labels are the most vulnerable ID labels in a warehouse, but when used correctly, they prove to be incredibly durable and cost-effective.
We recommend placing labels to the left or right of a location entrance to minimize constant impact. Ensure to lift pallets and forks clear, avoiding truck wheels turning while positioned on the label.
Our labels are designed to withstand continuous traffic, but like aluminum frames and steel plates, excessive or undue impact can cause them to fail.
The barcode you choose depends on your location or product reference data requirements.
While we can produce nearly any barcode type, Code 128 remains the most popular choice in the storage and logistics industry. Its ability to encode a wide range of characters—digits, letters, and punctuation (128 in total)—combined with its efficient data-to-size ratio, allows it to store large amounts of information in a compact format.
Code 39 is very popular. Although it encodes fewer characters, its simplicity and ease of scanning make it ideal for operations that handle product-specific references and require quick processing.
Recently, we’ve seen growing demand for Data Matrix and QR Codes. These formats can store significantly more data than traditional linear barcodes, making them a powerful option for modern applications.
All ASG Services products are custom-made to meet your exact needs. We can provide any size, color, or content you require. For those seeking standard options, our online store offers a selection of stock sizes for basic items.
Embedded floor labels are the most durable option we offer. Positioned below the floor’s surface, they are protected from damage caused by direct impact or being driven over, making them far less likely to be ripped off.
While embedded labels are not the cheapest option and require regular cleaning, they are incredibly resilient. In testing, they withstood the extreme wear of steel stillages being dragged across them—one of the most damaging actions possible.
Other durable options include floor label frames and floor label protectors. When feasible, we also highly recommend warehouse hanging signs for added protection. All these solutions are available in our online store. For larger projects, contact us for quantity-based pricing and installation services.
These are common requests from customers aiming to improve stock-pick accuracy.
Floor labels can become damaged when MHE wheels turn directly on them. While the adhesive and materials are durable, the twisting pressure is intense. To prevent this, consider placing labels to the side of storage lanes or adding floor markers to guide drivers to avoid turning their wheels on the labels.
Driving straight over floor labels is perfectly fine. However, turning on them or scraping pallets across their surface are the most damaging actions to avoid.
